Italian manufacturer responds to the tariff hike announced by the Donald Trump administration

After announcing a 25% increase in tariffs on all imported vehicles and car parts, Ferrari responded by raising prices on selected models.

The Italian luxury and supercar manufacturer announced a price increase of up to 10% on some models sold in the United States.

The company, which manufactures all its vehicles in Italy, stated that the new prices will take effect starting April 3. Orders placed before that date, such as the Ferrari 296 GTB, SF90 Stradale, and Ferrari Roma, will not be affected by the changes.

Nevertheless, Ferrari reaffirmed its financial targets for 2025, including an EBIT margin of at least 29% and a minimum EBITDA margin of 38.3%.

Ferrari Statement:

“Reaffirming its commitment to the highest level of customer care and protection, and with the goal of providing assurance:

• Commercial terms will remain unchanged for orders of all models imported before April 2, 2025, and for orders of the following three families — Ferrari 296, SF90, and Roma — regardless of import date.

• For the remaining current models, the new import conditions will be partially reflected in pricing, up to a maximum increase of 10 percent, in coordination with our dealer network. On this basis, Ferrari confirms its financial targets for 2025, with a potential downside risk of 50 basis points in profit margins (EBIT and EBITDA).”

It is worth noting that the tariff hike directly affects European automakers such as Ferrari, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz. Meanwhile, Tesla, Ford, and General Motors may gain a competitive edge.
